As Director of the Conservatorio Profesional de Música de Torrent, I wish to send my warm greetings to those who visit this virtual space and, at the same time, offer them an instrument of collaboration, information, and participation in all our activities.

We are all aware of the musical traditions and culture of the Valencian Community, as well as of the great number of institutions that dedicate their daily efforts to practicing and teaching music. Among these musical institutions, Conservatories play, without doubt, a key role. All of them have provided a high-quality musical education to a great number of students who are now occupying posts of the highest responsibility in orchestras, bands, and conservatories of our country, thus becoming real ambassadors of the Valencian culture.

Our Conservatory is an educational institution functioning under the direction of the Council of Culture and Education. It has a thirty-year-long history. On November 2002, we moved to a new building with sufficient resources to develop an ambitious and innovative educational project. This building, located near the Auditorium, is a splendid place that reflects the modern spirit and dynamism of the city of Torrent, which makes a decisive commitment to articulating the musical offer of the Horta Sud region and becoming a reference point of the Valencian Community.

Torrent's Conservatori Professional de Música offers elementary and middle courses and can enroll up to 540 students. Our mission is to bring up future professionals of Music and to make musical education accessible to all our citizens.

Finally, we want to encourage everybody visiting this virtual space to become part of our educational community and trust us to teach their children. We are sure that they will never regret it.
